Gold Sponsor for Heading Home Event

u.1.Heading-Home-Logo.pngAd Meliora is pleased to be a gold sponsor for the 2016 Heading Home Awards and Celebration.  It will be held on Tuesday, December 6th at the Downtown Harvard Club of Boston.

This year's event will be honoring Tom Andrews with the NAIOP Community Builder Award, Boston Art as the Luberta Shea Volunteer of the Year, and Putnam Investments as the Corporate Partner of the Year.

Ad Meliora is privileged to be able to sponsor this event for Heading Home, an organization doing so much for the silent population of homeless in the Greater Boston Area….giving those in need a sense of home and stability so that they can help themselves get back on track.  What we think makes Heading Home so special is their complete approach of providing skills training, education and financial literacy to those in addition to a roof over their heads.  We need more organizations like Heading Home!

Endicott Woods Sales Brisk

As we near the end of 2016, our Endicott Woods project in Norwood is selling quickly.  With a recent reservation accepted on unit 408, buildings 4 and 5 are now completely sold out!  It's not surprising considering the excellent work from our construction team, led by Paul Soughley.  Our sales team of Tara and Nancy True have been hard at work and doing a great job!

With this reservation, Buildings 4 and 5 are completely sold out with Buildings 2 and 3 each having only one unreserved unit remaining.  If you want to see the property or get your reservation in, check out our Endicott Woods website...or contact our sales team.

There are still nine more buildings to be constructed...get your reservation in now!

Hyde Park Main Streets

Hyde Park Mean Streets LogoSaturday evening, Ben DiScipio and I enjoyed ourselves at the Hyde Park Main Streets 2016 Sock Hop, accompanied by our lovely wives!  It was nice to see Mayor Walsh and Councilman Tim McCarthy and the wonderful people of Hyde Park.  There was a great band and lots of dancing…some wonderful food…tables of fun items to bid on and the live auction.

We were lucky enough to win a few items, danced and enjoyed ourselves…  Looking forward to meeting more of the people from Hyde Park in the coming months as we explore some of the ways that we can become a part of the neighborhood surrounding our 1725 Hyde Park Ave project.

We look forward to being a positive part of this vibrant community!

Bowdoin Church Meeting

Well, this evening, we had a meeting with neighbors of our Bowdoin Church project to explain what we want to do with the existing back door and possible handicap access.  The meeting went well.  People were very friendly and came prepared with valid concerns.  I hope that our explanation helped to ease their concerns.  We're very much looking forward to the development of this project.  It holds great promise for the neighborhood....

33-35 Bowdoin Moving Forward

The last hurdle in beginning construction on our exciting project in Beacon Hill was cleared on Monday.  The Boston Parks Commission approved our proposal to allow for a widening of the rear gate for the purpose of allowing disability access to the proposed office space.

We were pleased to see several of our neighbors at the hearing, voicing their support of our project as well as their concern for the park.  That pleases us because we are similarly concerned about the park.  It is a jewel in this historic neighborhood and we look forward to participating in its preservation and protection.

We appreciate the effort and the due diligence of the Parks Commission.  We also thank the outstanding work done by our architects, landscaping team, and legal team.  It's exciting to think of what this project will become!
